Business Plan Development

This business plan development is a continuation of part of the design.kit business model at an offsite real estate and construction startup, which attempted to build a standardized design system to produce all-electric, 'green' semi custom single and low-rise multi-family homes.
TASKS: Strategically vary offsite construction 
techniques between different design programs; account for material economy and potential supply chain
disruptions; optimize design communication to vendors and contractors through minimum drawings; develop potential branding around this system.

ACTIONS: Revised customer profile, expanded value proposition & value chain; proposed a combination of volumetric  modules, panels and pods as core construction elements; co-facilitated design development with the design team and vendors

RESULTS: Developed core company brand image around key value propositions; developed basic value chain; achieved an efficient system for designing semi-custom homes with at least 20% less time, offering flexibilities in program, style, economy and environmental ratings
